FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FDM technology involves melting thermoplastic material (e.g., PLA, PETG, ABS) and applying it in layers through a nozzle connected to a heater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Production of auxiliary tools (handles, assembly tools),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housings and functional parts in the automotive and electronics industries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rapid functional prototyping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advantages: low price, high availability of materials, ease of use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Limitations: visible layers, lower dimensional accuracy than other technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. SLA\/DLP \u2013 high-precision resin prints<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technology based on curing photopolymers with UV light \u2013 laser (SLA) or projector (DLP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medical and dental industry (implant models, crowns),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Micro-mechanics and electronics (precision prototypes, housings),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Silicone and injection molds for low-volume production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advantages: high precision, smooth surface, complex geometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Limitations: fragile materials, limited resistance to temperature and chemicals, need for finishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) \u2013 strength without supports<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sintering powder (e.g., PA12, TPU) with a laser, layer by layer, without the need for support structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Production of ready-made functional components,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Functional prototypes undergoing mechanical testing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complex-shaped components (internal channels, suspensions).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advantages: high mechanical strength, no supports, good dimensional tolerance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Limitations: higher printing costs, dust, and the need for specialized working conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) \u2013 an industrial alternative to SLS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HP MJF uses inkjet heads to apply a fusion agent to layers of powder, which are then sintered using radiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Production of ready-made, functional parts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fast small-batch production,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elements requiring a high-quality surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advantages: fast printing speed, good detail quality, resistance to stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Limitations: cost of equipment and materials, color limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. PolyJet \u2013 spray printing with photopolymers&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The printer sprays thin layers of liquid photopolymers (including support material), which are immediately cured with UV light. It allows simultaneous printing with multiple materials and colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Production of realistic prototypes varying in color and hardness,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anatomical models and surgical instruments (medicine),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cosmetics, automotive, consumer electronics.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Advantages: high resolution (up to 16 microns), smooth surface, possibility of printing from multiple materials at once, short model preparation times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Limitations: the materials are less mechanically resistant than in other technologies, higher operating costs (material + heads), need to remove support material in a water or chemical bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. DMLS \/ SLM \u2013 metal sintering<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Metal powder (e.g., steel, titanium, aluminum) is laser sintered to create fully metallic parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2013 Aviation and aerospace<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2013 Medical industry (implants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2013 Injection molds and tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advantages: very high strength, possibility of creating geometries that cannot be achieved using traditional methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Limitations: very high machine and operating costs, quality control and finishing required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.
